house next door（ハウス・ネクスト・ドア）は、下町の象徴的な長屋を改装したパフォーマンスとミーティングのためのスペースです。2024年に神戸市長田区にオープンしました。実験的で新しい表現を行うアーティストの滞在制作・発表のほか、創作環境の改善や観客文化の育成を目的とした学びの場として、また地域のミーティングや習い事などのためにも開かれます。様々な背景を持つ人々がそれぞれの社会を緩やかに交差させ、新たな出会いや発見を生み出せるような場を目指しています。

house next door is an artist-run space in a renovated iconic japanese downtown style row house. It opened in Nagata-ku, Kobe in 2024. In addition to residencies and presentations by artists engaged in experimental and new forms of expression, it will be opened as a place for learning to improve the creative environment and cultivate audience culture, as well as for gatherings of local residents. We aim to create a place where people of various backgrounds can gently intersect their respective societies and create new encounters and discoveries.　

Studio Space

アーティストの実験的な作品制作・発表の他、地域のイベントやミーティング、習い事等のためにも開かれます。

Residency Space

神戸・長田の古き良き雰囲気が残る長屋。大らかな時間が流れる下町の路地を眺めながら滞在していただけます。

Stay in a row house that retains the good old atmosphere of Nagata, Kobe. Enjoy the view of the alleyways of the downtown area.
